Fourteen of the forty licensed beds at The Cambridge are designated as EALR units allowing residents to “Age in Place” and delay or avoid nursing home placement. These services are provided by our in house Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses and
in-house Registered Nurse
Some EALR services include the following:
Assistance with transfer and ambulation including
one and two person assistsManagement of chronic incontinence, catheter
and colostomy careAssistance with injectable medications
Blood pressure and glucose monitoring
Assistance with oxygen
Wound Care
